About
A photographer and art director in Copenhagen. Twelve years of campaigns, interiors and still life — almost always in real light.

My studio in Nørrebro, Copenhagen
My story
I picked up my first camera to photograph friends’ bands. Twelve years later I still answer every email myself.
I’m Saga Holm, a photographer and art director based in Copenhagen. I work with brands, architects and publishers who care about light as much as I do — usually in the north, sometimes much further away.
I work mostly alone and bring in a small crew when a job needs one. I take on a handful of commissions each season, so every one gets my full attention from the first call to the final print.

How I work
Four habits I don’t break. They’re why clients come back.
Real light first
I plan around the sun and the weather, and I would rather wait a day than fake a sunrise.
Small crews
Fewer people on set means calmer pictures — and more room for the unexpected.
Fewer, better
A handful of commissions each season, so every one gets my full attention.
Prints that last
Every series ends as a set of archival prints — the web is never the only home.
